It’s been fantastic to see rapid progress on the Kapiti Expressway over the last six months.
Last week’s announcement of Budget 2014 is good news for most families in Kapiti and Horowhenua.
Our region is lucky to have some great tourist attractions. One of the real gems is the Kapiti Island Nature Reserve which offers day tours, guided walks, and night time kiwi-spotting.
It has been great to see the recent focus and effort going into Meningitis locally. This is a highly contagious and deadly disease that can strike at any moment.
This week we recognise Anzac Day and remember those who have sacrificed so much on our behalf. I’m looking forward to speaking at the Otaki dawn service and attending other services in Horowhenua on Friday. Congratulations to former Otaki student Jack Potaka who won a nationwide veterans speech competition and his prize is attending Anzac Day commemorations at Gallipoli.
In the National-led Government, Otaki MP Hon Nathan Guy is Minister for Racing and Minister for Primary Industries. This website is funded by The Parliamentary Service and authorised by Nathan Guy MP, 240 Oxford Street, Levin. Welcome to my website.
I’m proud to be the Member of Parliament for the Otaki electorate, representing the area I’ve lived in nearly all my life.
The Otaki electorate stretches from Paraparaumu in the South, including Waikanae and Otaki, to Levin, Foxton and Waitarere in the north.
We are lucky to enjoy one of the best lifestyles in New Zealand here with the ocean, the outdoors, and our vibrant communities.
I’m also proud to be a Cabinet Minister in John Key’s Government.
I have a busy workload as Minister for Primary Industries and Minister for Racing.
