Anzac Day
Least we forget
It was my privilege to attend the Otaki dawn service with over 2,000 others. I was lucky to wake at 5am to a warm shower (when you consider the sacrifices that our soldiers made for our Country).
After a great breakfast at the Otaki RSA I arrived at Manakau with about 100 locals at this memorial service and then met up with the kids and Erica at Levin. We marched as a family to Levin’s cenotaph and paid our respects before heading to Waikanae’s formal service in the Memorial Hall.
Thanks to those that made a huge contribution – it was a very moving day and made me appreciate a whole lot of things…
